Tattoo Envy #1

I am not one who believes that a tattoo has to have a deep meaningful meaning behind it. I think that if it is something you like and are prepared to have it on your body for the rest of your life, then go for it. A tattoo is something that I have wanted for as long as I can remember and I'm going to hopefully get one sometime next year.

These are just some tattoos that I have found and think are either beautiful, creative or will possibly get myself in the future.

Do you have any?

L'Oréal Paris Volume Mission Lashes | Review

I was on the hunt for a new mascara and I came across the L'Oréal Volume Million Lashes from an advert on the TV. I was originally only going to buy the 'So Couture', but there was an offer in Boots to buy two L'Oréal products for £15 so I couldn't pass up on the offer and I also purchased the waterproof 'Excess'.

I can honestly say that I am very impressed from these products. Not only do they give amazing volume, but they aren't clumpy and also lengthen my lashes.
Both products have plastic bristles.

I use the waterproof 'Excess' everyday because I prefer a waterproof so I am not having to constantly check that I don't have panda eyes.

The 'So Couture' is also brilliant and I normally use it when I am going out on an evening, when it isn't too hot.

Overall, I highly recommend these products.
Both retail for £10.99 at boots.

The 'Me Time' TAG

As I was feeling a bit sorry for myself because I am a little under the weather, I was watching Youtube (as one does) and I watched Essie Button's new video titled "The 'Me Time' TAG". I am going to come right out and say it, I am a lover of all things Essie Button. Just putting it out there. She along with Amelia Liana created a new tag that revolves around what you love to do during 'Me Time'. (Bit self explanatory seeing as though it is called 'The "Me Time" TAG). Nonetheless,I was intrigued and thought it was a fun idea.

1. What do you watch or read during me-time?
I will catch up on series or binge watch Rom-Coms. Some of my favourite Rom-Coms are Notting Hill, Bridget Jones's Diary and The Holiday. The list is endless though. As for series, I am really enjoying The Originals, Scandal and Greys Anatomy at the moment.

2. What do you wear during me-time? #nobra
Without fail, I will wear pyjamas. And yes #nobra

3. What are your me-time beauty products?
Absolutely nothing. I will remove all makeup, wash my face and get comfy.

4. Current favourite nail polish?
I don't know if this counts, but the TopShop Matte Coat. It just gives such a cool effect to any nail polish.

5. What do you eat/drink during me-time?
I will make a cup of tea or a smoothie.

6. Do you ever have outdoor me-time?
I am not an outdoor person when the possibility of wifi and a comfy bed is the other option.

7. Would you ever go see a movie alone?
I was prepared to go see 'The Maze Runner' alone recently, but my friend decided to come last minute. But I wouldn't be afraid to go watch a movie alone, especially if I really wanted to watch it.

8. Favourite online shop?
I love looking through New Look and ASOS.

9. Anything to add? What else do you do during me-time?
I always have my cat sleeping right beside me.

So that is what I get up to in my 'Me Time'. I live such a thrilling life ehh? You can watch the original video here.
Subscribe to Essie Button here if you already aren't because she's brill.
I am also a new subscriber to Amelia Liana and you can find her channel here.

What do you get up to in your 'Me Time'?

Best Pancakes Ever | Recipe

Pancakes are one of my favourite things to make (when I have the time). The recipe I use is actually meant for waffles, but it makes just as amazing pancakes. The original recipe is from Sorted Food can can be found here. I normally only make about half of the recipe though and it makes about 6 medium sized pancakes.

You will need:
110g flour
1/2 tsp salt
35g caster sugar
1 tsp baking powder
2 eggs
170ml milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
a knob of butter
and any toppings you like

  1. Mix together the flour, salt, sugar and baking powder in a bowl.
  2. Separate the eggs and set aside the white in a clean bowl.
  3. Combine the egg yolks, milk and vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk the wet ingredients into the dry.
  5. Whisk the egg white to medium peaks and gently fold through the batter. (An electric whisk will make this a lot easier)
  6. Heat a pan to a medium high temperature and pop in the butter.
  7. Spoon in the batter to the desired size. Fry until the pancake just begins to cook around the edges and bubbles start the form. This usually takes about 2 minutes.
  8. Flip the pancakes over and cook for another 2-3 minutes, until both sides are golden.
  9. Serve up with any desires toppings (I love using Nutella or Golden Syrup).
Enjoy your pancakes.
